Fund raising opportunity through Shanti: A Journey Of Peace
This (Shanthi) acclaimed choral multi-media theater production will be performed for the first time in the Houston area. A 90 member Indian community choir with singers from the Greater Houston community will sing along with the United Nations Association International Choir in this historical concert. Accompanying the singers will be a 30 member chamber orchestra, an Indian instrumental ensemble and multi-genre classical dances. Mr. Sanjeev Arora, Consular General of India - Houston will be the Chief Guest at the 8:30 performance.
