Bhagvata Saptaha - Dr Aralumallige Parthasarathy

We are excited to provide community members a rare & wonderful opportunity of listening to Srimad Bhagvata PuraNa rendered by Sri Aralumallige Parthasarathy. Dr. Parthasarathy is renowned for a number of works and upanyasas that he has presented all over the world. Find more information below at end of this post.

Dr Parthasarathy will cover the Bhagvata PuraNa with daily pravachanas starting from Sun 5th Feb 2012 thru Sat 11th Feb 2012. The lectures will be in the evenings 7 - 8 PM on weekdays and in the morning 10 AM on Sun 5th Feb for a longer time - about 1.5 hours. The PuraNa mangala will be held on Sat 11th Feb morning 10 AM.

NOTE: In addition to the Bhagvatha Saptaha, Dr Parthasarathy will also be holding a 90 minute lecture titled Purandara Namana on Purandara Dasa's life and works. This will be held on Sat 11th Feb 2012 at 4:30 PM at the Frisco Hanuman Temple hall. Community members are encouraged to attend this lecture as well.

We are extremely delighted to welcome two young and highly talented musicians Vid.Sri. Ganesh Raman from Minneapolis and Vid.Smt. Meenakshi Sastry and disciples from the DFW metroplex to perform on this occasion.

This year we dedicate the Aradhana celebration to the living memory of Bharat Ratna Pundit Bhimsen Joshi ji, who immensely popularized Sri Purandara Dasa compositions and also immortalized the song "Bhagyada Lakshmi Baramma."

Sir, we are also planning to introduce computers as a subject from this academic year to the economically backward students. Consequently they require about 4 to 5 computers. If anyone of you/friends interested in donating computers to this coaching center even if the computers can be old/used but need to be in a working condition. These computers will be put to good use in the coaching center and would make a world of difference to the children.
